Alalaho runs a 5-day residential “Core Retreat” in the Netherlands (described as Amsterdam-based), typically for 10–14 participants with four facilitators — a stated ratio of around one guide per three to four participants. The format centres on a single psilocybin-truffle ceremony followed by roughly two and a half days of integration, preceded by onboarding materials, a group video call, and 24 hours of on-site preparation. The operator publishes a detailed screening process: a health intake form covering personal, medical and psychiatric history, followed by a one-to-one assessment call with a senior facilitator, with medical consultation for complex cases. Published exclusion criteria include personal or family history of psychosis or bipolar disorder, serious cardiovascular conditions, and conflicting medications such as SSRIs/SNRIs and antipsychotics, with a stated minimum of three months off antidepressants. On legality, its materials state that truffles are legal in the Netherlands, are legally sourced and tested, and that it works within a clear legal framework, choosing venues in countries whose legal landscape supports the work.

Published pricing for the Core Retreat starts from €3,450, with truffles purchased separately at the retreat (€45 in the Netherlands), a €300 deposit, payment plans on approval, and a limited bursary program at 40% of the standard price.
