Temple of the Way of Light

Temple of the Way of Light offers 8-day and 12-day residential retreats (and longer plant-dieta programs via a partner) in the Amazon rainforest near Iquitos, Peru, for up to 24 guests per retreat. Ceremonies are led by a team of Shipibo-Conibo healers alongside Western, trauma-informed facilitators trained in approaches including IFS, Somatic Experiencing, and Hakomi.

The published emergency protocol is unusually detailed: an onsite nurse, first-aid-trained staff, an AED, a contracted private clinic in Iquitos, and a stated 30–45 minute evacuation process by river and road to hospital care.
